Open in June of 2012, Tavern on Main is Buda’s local gathering place, watering hole and live music venue. We are in the heart of the Buda’s historic downtown, minutes from Austin and a world away from Austin congestion.
In addition to 10 rotating taps primarily dedicated to local and regional beers, we have a wide variety of bottles and cans, a full bar featuring spirits produced in the Austin area and all over Texas as well as a selection of wines. Happy Hour is 3-7 Tuesday through Saturday.
Music every Friday and Saturday with both outdoor and indoor stages allowing music regardless of the weather. Tavern’s music ranges from singer-songwriters to jazz to blues to classic country and everything in between. One of Buda’s best-kept secrets is the music community that has been building for years. We have a rich vein of talent right here in town and a network of musicians to rival most any Austin venue.
Tavern on Main offers Buda and Kyle an alternative to heading into Austin or San Marcos. We are just 15 minutes from Circuit of the Americas and 5 minutes from our local hotels.
