“The Nook Amphitheater is an all-outdoor music amphitheater located in the heart of Historic Sixth Street in the Live music capital of the world. We offer the best live music and entertainment in Austin 7 nights a week, 365 days a year . We’ve rechristened the empty lot that once housed the since-burned-down Black Cat Lounge, before being blocked off by the iconic “Live Music Capitol” mural. The bare-bones space is marked by steel frames and nearly no flammable materials, so as to avoid the bad luck of the unfortunately named previous tenant.”
